How to Obtain Your DCR Senior Parking Pass Online in Massachusetts

Are you a Massachusetts resident aged 62 or older? The Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) offers a convenient online process for seniors to obtain their parking passes, granting access to state parks and recreational areas at a discounted rate. With just a few simple steps, you can apply for your DCR Senior Parking Pass from home. Below, we provide an easy-to-follow guide on eligibility, required documents, and the purchasing process. Eligibility for Senior Parking Pass

  • Must be 62 years or older.
  • Must be a permanent Massachusetts resident.

Required Documents

  • Valid Massachusetts driver’s license (expired licenses not accepted).
  • If no MA driver’s license, upload a government-issued ID and proof of MA residency (e.g., vehicle registration or utility bill).
  • Out-of-state driver’s licenses are not accepted.

Steps to Purchase a Senior Parking Pass

  1. Visit: Yodel Portal.
  2. Create an account by clicking “Profile” or “Login to Apply” and entering your mobile number, email, and name.
  3. Receive a 4-digit verification code via text or email and enter it.
  4. Select "Senior Passes" (one per person, up to 3 passes for different seniors per account).
  5. Upload the required documents (scan or take a photo and upload).
  6. Submit the application and check your email for updates (approval, resubmission, or rejection).
  7. Once approved, log in to submit payment using Discover, Mastercard, or Visa.
  8. Receive a confirmation email after completing payment.

Receiving the Pass

After your payment is processed, your Senior Parking Pass will be mailed to you within 3-7 weeks.

How to Use Your Senior Parking Pass

The parking pass must be displayed at all times when visiting paid-parking facilities. It is recommended to place the pass on the rearview mirror of your vehicle. The pass can be used in any vehicle as long as the passholder is present.
